The 15 years of Internet Revolution which ended in 2010 was a movement within the Internet space. The new Internet Revolution from 2010 onwards is a movement that merges the Internet space with legacy offline industries.
Many large industries in Japan are very traditional. I believe that they will very soon experience revolutionary changes and see their services and value-chains been redefined by the power of the Internet. And I believe that Raksul will be at the center of this movement.
The driver of this revolution is the generation of people that grew up with the Internet and smartphones. Born in 1984 Toyama prefecture.
After graduating from the Faculty of Commerce of Keio University, Yasukane joined AT Kearney. After engaging in many cost reduction projects, he realized the inefficiency in the 6 trillion yen printing industry. In 2009/9, Yasukane established "Raksul" with the mission of changing the structure of the printing industry with the power of the Internet. He developed an e-commerce printing business model which utilizes legacy printing companies' excess capacity. In 2015/12, Yasukane also launched the online on-demand logistics service "Hacobell".
Born in 1980, Tokyo.
After graduating from School of Policy Studies of Keio University, Yo worked in M & A advisory service at Mizuho Securities. He later moved to Carlyle Group and became the youngest Senior Associate. In 2013, Yo joined DeNA and worked in its Business Planning department. He had various responsibilities including formulating management strategies, implementing financial and investment strategies, IR and new businesses planning. Yo received an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 2011.
Yo joined Raksul in 2014/4 as the CFO. He is responsible for the business planning and administration department and is actively involved in finance, accounting, legal, HR and other business areas.
CMO / Managing Director
Born in 1980, Osaka prefecture.
After graduating from Faculty of Literature of Chuo University, Masaki worked in PR and advertising roles in the Marui Group. In 2007, he joined Take And Give Needs Co., a pioneer company in wedding planning. Masaki had various senior leadership roles in sales planning, business strategy, and marketing.
Masaki joined Raksul in 2014/5. He is currently serving as the CMO, supporting Raksul's growth by utilizing his experience in 4P strategy, offline marketing, and data-driven CRM.
CTO / Managing Director
Born in 1979, Nagano Prefecture.
Yusuke lived in the US since he was 10 and worked as a professional composer after graduating from the New England Conservatory of Music. Later on, he started his own system development company and eventually joined Morgan Stanley Securities (now Morgan Stanley MUFG Securities) in 2006 to develop trading systems for bond products. After joining DeNA in 2012, Yusuke worked in the game platform business and became the technology development lead of its new genetic testing service unit in 2013.
Yusuke joined Raksul in 2015/12. As the CTO, he is managing and developing Raksul's engineering department (system development / creative production).
COO / Managing Director
Born in 1979, Fukuoka prefecture.
After graduating from Faculty of Science and Technology of Keio University, Kozo worked for Future Architect Co. and later for the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). In BCG, Kozo worked as a Principal in both Tokyo office and Cologne office. He was the leading specialist for Corporate Transformation/Technology Advantage projects.
Kozo joined Raksul in 2015/7. He served as the Director of the Corporate Planning Division and Head of SCM, and currently as the COO.
He is responsible for business planning, production management, and the growth of all business units.
